Kata Inspired 15 Minutes noodles recipes

Chicken Balls Noodles Soup

All you need (serves 2 children/1 adult)

200g minced chicken
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon butter or oil
1/2 size of a medium sized onions
1 garlic gloves
1 handful of sliced leeks
3 cups of fresh chicken stock or 1 stock block dissolved in 3 cups of  hot water
1 package of instant noodles
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Handful of sliced paprika and carrots or any preferred vegetables

How to make it

Season chicken with curry powder and salt. Make into balls and fry in 1 tablespoon butter for a golden colour on sides.
Meanwhile, fry sliced onions, leek and garlic in a deep saucepan with 1 tablespoon butter.
Add chicken stock and noodles.
Allow to boil covered for 5 minutes.
(Chicken balls should be ready at this stage.)
Add chicken balls and soy sauce to the noodles soup.
Remove cover and boil for 5 more minutes.
Serve soup hot over sliced paprika and carrots.
For adults you can add the packed spices that comes with the noodles after serving for extra kick!



Minced Chicken Stir Fry 

All you need(serves 2 children/1 adult)

1 tablespoon oil
200g minced chicken
1 garlic glove
*1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon running honey
1 small size onion sliced
1 small size red bell pepper
2 handful of roughly chopped kale leaves 
1 package of boiled egg noodles or preferred noodles 


How to make it

First fry chicken with oil in a frying pan over medium heat for a minute(avoid breaking the mincemeat apart to make them easier to remove later).
Add crushed garlic and chili powder if using.
Add soy sauce and honey.
Fry for a minute and remove chicken from pan leaving behind the soy sauce and set aside.
Next add sliced onion, paprika and kale leaves to the sauce in the pan and stir fry till the kale leaves shrinks (reduces in size).
Add back chicken and cooked noodles to the pan and toss together with the vegetables.
Serve and enjoy.
